The Brand
In the US, Thayers facial toners have been an integral part of the cosmetics industry for generations. The brand was founded in 1847 by the eponymous Dr. Henry Thayer and can look back on many years of skincare expertise. The main ingredient of the toners is witch hazel, This is planted exclusively for Thayers on a family farm in Connecticut, harvested by hand in the traditional way and not distilled to guarantee an alcohol-free formulation. This production process is similar to brewing a cup of tea and offers far more skin-friendly tannins than traditional products. The brand was acquired by the L’Oréal Group a few years ago and has since expanded to countries outside the US.
Our Work
Goldstück supported the launch of the brand in Germany in autumn 2022 with a PR campaign and a large-scale organic seeding. We sent out more than 500 gifted boxes with Thayers products to our content creators and achieved a posting rate of over 50% with a total reach of 6 million and an EMV in the middle 6 digit zone
